Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Yeshua (Jesus) is the Prince of Peace (Sar Shalom, in Hebrew). You may have already known that the word “shalom” means peace. But actually, it has several meanings in Hebrew. Shalom means peace, completeness, prosperity, safety, contentment, health, blessing, and rest — and not only that. Shalom is the common word for hello and goodbye.
So, when you greet someone or bid them a farewell “shalom”, what you are actually doing is speaking all those blessings upon them — and really, speaking over them the ultimate peace, Yeshua, Himself!
‘Tis the season to speak shalom over one another — in doing so, we’ll truly be His ambassador of peace in this world filled with chaos! Shabbat Shalom!
In my life became so rich and true this teaching about Jesus as the Prince if Peace .Thanx,God bless and Shalom!:)

when you visit a house, greet the owner of the house with ‘shalom’… …
like King David in 1 Samuel 25
“6 Say, ‘Long life and shalom to you, shalom to your household, and shalom to everything that is yours! 7”
and when you leave, if they have accepted you, shalom will stay with them. if they reject you, shalom will leave with you. take no thought of it; everything is always in Yahweh’s perfect sovereignty.
oh, yes, remember Daniel. and the other 3 shortly.
they trusted Yahweh, and continually had restful peace – even when thrown in the lion’s den; and in the furnace.
they lifted not a hand in their own defense, ever.
Yahweh protected them always. they trusted Him, even if they should die, they did not resist. likewise – followers of Yeshua, be at perfect peace, AND as Yeshua says “be as HARMless as doves”. (even as He sends us out in the middle of ravenous wolves!!!) (as HE says, as it is WRITTEN IN HIS WORD) ….
what can a sheep, harmless as a dove, think or do to wolves ?!
Trust in Yahweh, and leave all concern to Him. He says so. just do all that He says to do. (obey always, with perfect obedience, as He leads and guides and trains and teaches, growing in Him in all things daily, trusting in Him and relying on Him. HE IS FAITHFUL AND TRUE) ) Hebrews 13:1-5 Amplified…
