Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Don’t you love New Year’s resolutions? Every year this time, I start jogging and getting rid of the belly that I’ve grown over the past year. This year it seems to be a little bigger and harder to lose – but hey it’s the beginning of the year and I’ve got resolution to follow through! Thinking back over the year I’m regretting the times I ate fast food when I was in the States. They make getting overweight so easy! :0
Don’t you love when you step up to the fast food counter, how they ask you, “Would you like to supersize it?” What are they saying? “Now that we know what you want to eat, how about a whole lot more of it !?!”
As I was thinking about this dilemma of mine, (mostly in a negative sense), I suddenly came to another realization. When we enter into His presence, God is also saying to us, “How about a deeper, more fruitful time of prayer or worship?!?”
So here’s my suggestion, let’s say “no thanks” to the fast food guy….and, “Yea, Lord, SUPERSIZE ME!!!”
